·        1949 – Chamber helps with commemorating Longview’s 25^th Anniversary Celebration

·        In 1951 – Chamber participation in the White Pass Hwy Assn., the highway was completed and dedicated; S.M. Morris of Longview was the master of ceremonies at the dedication. A painting commemorating this achievement still hangs in the Chamber office.
