sQuatch Fest
January 24 + 25, 2025

Look forward to sQuatch Fest, every January on the last Friday and Saturday of the month. A HUGE hit for Bigfoot fans and anyone else packed into two-days at the Cowlitz County Event Center. With presentations by renowned speakers and experts in the study of Sasquatch, along with a host of vendors and a place to swap Bigfoot tales over a specialty craft ale. Plus there's popular Kids Cave for young explorers.

Our annual awards ceremony, Pillars of Strength and Crystal Apple Awards celebrates business and community leaders as well as our educators K-12 and higher education. Nominees are acknowledged for their accomplishments and contributions to our community. It’s a celebration of volunteerism, community service and achievements. Highlight of the evening is awarding local high school seniors’ scholarships to fulfil their education goals. Funds are raised by our membership and by the Lower Columbia Professionals.
Annual Golf Classic

Our highly anticipated Golf Classic sells out every year in both teams and sponsorships. Over 200 business professionals come out for a day of fun, laughter and connecting with like-minded individuals. Our tournament is for golfers of all skill levels. It’s a 4-person scramble so anyone can join in the fun. Whether you choose to golf, be a hole sponsor or volunteer, you are guaranteed a day filled with camaraderie and lasting business partnerships.
Island Bingo

Career Exploration Expo

Since 2019, Career Exploration Expo has been empowering today's youth to become educated young adults. A Career Day provides career awareness and exploration of career pathways at local businesses. Employees share their insights, offer hand-on activities, and describe the skills and education needed to thrive in their fields. This event builds social capital for students and communities underrepresented within the professional communities.
Jingle All The Way

Get ready for the 12th annual Jingle All The Way event as it races into 2024 with exciting updates! Put on your best festive attire and bring your holiday spirit to this enchanting moonlit 5k. Whether you choose to run or walk, enjoy the delightful sounds of holiday music along the route. Prizes and refreshments await you at the finish line, along with a costume contest, photo opportunities with Santa, hot cocoa, cookies, and much more!
Business After Hours
Monthly
Hosted each month by a Chamber Member, Business After Hours welcomes attendees to tour the host business, learn about their products and services and meet their team. With great food, beverages and door prizes provided, this relaxed atmosphere is the perfect environment to network and make meaningful introductions with no pressure or intense sales pitches. Just you and you’re your peers making connections. BAH typically held the second Tuesday of the month.

KLCC understands how valuable time is to our members so at each Quarterly Membership Luncheon we book programs that are informative, educational and pertinent to current events. Topics range from local & state legislative issues to motivational and uplifting forums. Be sure to check out our calendar of events for the next scheduled luncheon.
LCP Events
Monthly, Sept through March
Lower Columbia Professionals, a volunteer group of like-minded professionals who promote and encourage the next generation of business leaders to make a difference through community involvement, volunteerism, networking and fundraising. The LCP group strongly supports education, and the future success of our youth by hosting events and raising money for our scholarship fund that benefits local graduating seniors in Cowlitz and Wahkiakum County.
BootCamp Series
March, May + September
Presented by the Kelso Longview Chamber of Commerce
Each series includes six Friday morning classes to provide tools to help business owners be more successful. The topics change each series and cover a wide range of subjects that appeal to business owners, supervisors, non-profits, start-ups, retail and so much more. You can get the complete six-pack for each category or register for sessions individually. Each registrations allows three or four people from your business to attend. Cost is $100 for all six classes for members and $160 for non-members. Individual classes are $25 for members and $35 for non-members.
