Discover and explore Tuscany with the chamber

The Kelso Longview Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Chamber Discoveries to offer a wonderful opportunty to visit a world heritage region.

Tuscany is known for its beautiful landscapes, its rich artistic legacy and influence on high culture. Tuscany is widely regarded as the true birthplace of the Italian Renaissance, and has been home to some of the most influential people in the history of arts and science, such as Petrarch, Dante, Botticelli, Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Galileo Galilei, Amerigo Vespucci and Puccini. Due to this, the region has several museums, most of which (such as the Uffizi and the Pitti Palace) are found in Florence, but others in towns and smaller villages. Tuscany has a unique culinary tradition, and is famous for its wines (most famous of which are Chianti, Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Morellino di Scansano and Brunello di Montalcino).

Tuscany has a unique artistic legacy, and Florence is one of the world's most important artistic centres, so much so that it is often nicknamed the "art capital of Italy" (the city is also believed to have the largest concentration of Renaissance art and architecture in the world).

The Kelso Longview Chamber takes great pride in announcing the very first MEGA MIXER 2010 will be August 24 from 5:30 to 8:30 pm on 16th Avenue between the Kelso Longview Chamber building and the Longview post office. Business display booths, tables, food, beverages and entertainment will mark our August networking event. Brought to you by the Kelso Longview Chamber of Commerce, Castle Rock Chamber of Commerce, Kalama Chamber of Commerce and the Longview Downtowners.The event will include business display booths, food catered by Summerland Catering, beverages by Capstone Cellars, live entertainment by Lock, Stock & Barrel, great door prizes, and Many opportunities for networking!

Entry Fee $15 per person

Sponsorships Available 3 different levels - become part of the celebration.

Members Participate for $90 (includes entry for 2 people)
